UIL concert and Sightreading - 2026

On April 16, the SFMS Concert and Symphonic Bands participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation at Huntsville High School. Each ensemble performed a prepared concert for three judges and learned a new piece in just seven minutes to perform for an additional panel.

Both bands earned the highest possible ratings from all six judges, receiving the UIL Sweepstakes Trophy.

Beyond their musical success, these students represented Cleveland ISD with poise, focus, and pride throughout the day. Congratulations to these outstanding young musicians.

On April 23, the SFMS Honor Band participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation at Tomball Memorial High School. Honor Band completed the UIL Sweepstakes trifecta by earning the highest possible ratings from all six judges and brought home their UIL Sweepstakes trophy.

We are so proud of these students for being a positive representation of the Santa Fe community, Cleveland ISD, and the Santa Fe Middle School Band Program.
